An explosion occurred during Taiwan Power Company's construction work in Longjing District, Taichung, causing two workers to suffer burns and be hospitalized. The incident was a result of a transformer malfunction during repair work. One worker sustained 5% second-degree burns to the face and was conscious when sent for treatment. Investigations are ongoing to determine if it was a workplace accident. Taiwan Power Company clarified that only one worker was injured and there was no footage taken at the time of the incident.
