In response to the peak travel season during the summer, insurance companies are promoting new comprehensive travel insurance plans. Starting in July, Anbang Insurance has increased the coverage limits for overseas sudden illness between 100%-250%, while Taiwan Insurance has introduced coverage for emergency accident transportation expenses in July. These insurance plans also offer increased compensation for trip cancellations, flight delays, itinerary changes, and medical expenses abroad, with enhancements in coverage for inconvenience during travel delays, such as offering double compensation after an 8-hour delay.
