The Central Weather Bureau issued heavy rain warnings for 13 counties and cities, including New Taipei City, Hsinchu County, Taichung City, and Nantou County, with the possibility of heavy rain or downpours in mountainous areas. Residents are advised to be cautious of thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind, as well as to be wary of landslides, rockfalls, and flash floods in mountainous areas.
