On July 6, 2024, at 5:08 am, in Taipei, a truck accident occurred when a truck driver neglected the height limit in the Xinyi District's Keelung Road underpass. The truck's cargo hit the height restriction bar and turned into a convertible, causing items to fall onto the road and injuring a motorcyclist behind. The motorcyclist, surnamed Zhang (39), sustained minor injuries. Police are investigating the incident, and both drivers tested negative for alcohol. The cause of the accident and liability are still under investigation.
