This action was taken after Good's campaign implied Trump's endorsement, prompting Trump to express support for Good's primary challenger, Sen. John McGuire. The letter criticized Good for misleading voters and donors and highlighted Trump's disapproval of Good's actions, noting Good's previous support for a different candidate during the 2024 GOP presidential primary. Good's campaign has not responded to requests for comment.
