Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group dropped 6.5% after a New York jury convicted former President Donald Trump for falsifying documents related to a hush money payment. Trump Media shares fell to $48.44 from $51.84, with a valuation of $9 billion. The company's stock has been volatile since its Nasdaq debut on March 26 after merging with a SPAC, with the highest close at $66.22 and the lowest at $22.84, amid expectations of Trump's formal nomination for president at the Republican National Convention in July.
