On June 11, 2024, at 7:25 AM, singer Tsai Min-yu was seen paying respects at Kuan-jie's mother's funeral home. Kuan-jie, a well-known director and producer, lost her mother to pneumonia at the age of 93 on June 1 at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Tsai Min-yu expressed gratitude for the care he received from Kuan-jie and visited to offer condolences: 'Kuan-jie has cultivated many good deeds and has taken care of me, so I must come to pay my respects.' He also shared that Kuan-jie had provided him with many opportunities in the past. Many celebrities, including Angela Chang, Xie Jin-yan, Wang Leehom, Blackie Chen, Fan Weiqi, Yu Meiren, and Zeng Baoyi, attended the memorial service to mourn.
