This surge also drove the Taiwan stock market index up by over 245.57 points to reach a new high of 24123.72 points. TSMC's upcoming physical shareholders meeting on July 18, marking new Chairman Wei Zhejia's first meeting as chairman, is highly anticipated by the industry, with expectations on the unveiling of the latest prospects for the 2-nanometer process and the possibility of challenging the 1200 NT dollar mark.
