On June 28, 2024, TSMC held a cybersecurity seminar for suppliers, with over 500 suppliers and more than 800 participants discussing practical cybersecurity control practices to improve supply chain protection levels. TSMC's Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategic Development and Chief Information Security Officer, Lin Chinkun, emphasized the importance of strengthening protection mechanisms in response to evolving information technology innovations, AI development, and global cybersecurity trends. They aim to enhance supply chain resilience, safeguard market competitiveness, and ensure customer and partner interests by sharing cybersecurity practices, assisting suppliers in implementing assessments and improvements, and establishing open communication and reporting channels. TSMC is actively involved in enhancing overall supply chain cybersecurity protection levels through various initiatives, focusing on implementing ten key controls and collaborating with industry organizations to set standards and deepen supplier cybersecurity management.
