Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) experienced a remarkable 45% increase in revenue for July, reaching NT$256.95 billion ($7.9 billion), primarily driven by strong demand for AI chips. This surge marks a significant acceleration from the previous month, suggesting TSMC may exceed analysts' expectations for the third quarter, projected to grow 37% to NT$747.4 billion. The company's CEO noted potential for price increases as clients transition to advanced technologies amidst growing AI demand, which constituted 52% of TSMC's last quarter's revenue.
