Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has announced that starting in July of 2024, they will increase employee benefits by giving each global employee an additional 8,000 Taiwanese dollars for expenses, including travel, entertainment, and children's tuition. This move, totaling 600 million, is seen as an effort to attract and retain talent, with last year's bonuses to grassroots employees already totaling at least 800 million. It is expected that this new initiative will boost Taiwan's economy by stimulating consumer spending.
