Pegasus in Turkey will soon start working on a new aircraft order for delivery after 2029.

Reported 4 months ago

Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish budget carrier, is set to begin working on its next plane order in the coming months to sustain its growth into the next decade. Despite a backlog in production slots at Airbus and Boeing, Pegasus aims to continue expanding its fleet beyond the 150 planes ordered since 2012. The airline's CEO highlighted challenges such as supply chain disruptions and geopolitical tensions affecting fuel prices, while aiming for an operating profit margin of 28% to 30% in 2024. Pegasus plans to add more international routes and destinations to meet growing demand.
