Trea Turner has joined the Phillies on their road trip to Colorado and San Francisco as he continues to rehab a hamstring strain. Despite initially expecting to miss six weeks, Turner has progressed quickly and is now participating in various baseball activities. The Phillies are cautious with his recovery to prevent re-injury, and if all goes well, Turner may start running the bases at full speed in San Francisco. In Turner's absence, Edmundo Sosa has been performing well as the primary shortstop for the team.
