In response to the parliamentary reform motion, the People's Party advocates for a TV debate, which the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) refuses. Huang Kuo-chang, the People's Party caucus convener, accuses the DPP of 'cowardice'. DPP's Ko Chien-ming rebukes Huang for not utilizing the legislative podium to clarify his stance and instead choosing TV or online debates to divert attention, accusing him of spreading false information and suggesting he joins the Kuomintang's (KMT) advocacy team. Ko highlights the upcoming live broadcast of the parliamentary scrutiny, involving 22 legislators from both the blue and green camps questioning Premier Su Tseng-chang and stresses the importance of transparency in the legislature.
