39-year-old Estonian men, Sergei Potapenko and Ivan Turõgin, have been accused of orchestrating a massive fraud worth $575 million targeting U.S. investors. The men allegedly operated a cryptocurrency mining scheme where they misled customers by offering virtual currency mining rights for a fee, but in reality, they had minimal mining capacity and used investors' money to purchase real estate, luxury cars, and gifts. The FBI is investigating the case, and the defendants are facing charges filed in the Western District of Washington.
