Two Council Members in Taichung Return to KMT Party, Councilor: It's Time to Go Home!

Taichung City independent Indigenous councilor Chu Yuan-hong has returned to the Kuomintang (KMT) party, joining the council's party operations. Another independent councilor, Ko Hsiu-ying, has also decided to rejoin the KMT, indicating their intention to run for the next election under the KMT banner. The KMT currently holds 32 seats out of 65 in the Taichung City Council, with the Democratic Progressive Party holding 24 seats, and both councilors expressed their desire to go back to their roots and raise the KMT flag high in the upcoming election.
