According to a report from China's 'The Paper' on July 5, two Chinese nationals were recently kidnapped and murdered in the Philippines. The victims, Xia and Sun, both worked in the medical equipment industry and were invited to the Philippines by a distributor named 'Li Na' for business. It was revealed that 'Li Na' is from Taiwan and is currently not in the Philippines. The authorities are still in the process of arresting the suspects involved in the case. The victims were found dead with signs of abuse, with their families failing to pay ransom money. Investigations are ongoing.
