When it comes to travel, some enjoy planning their trips while others find it daunting, with not every tour meeting their needs. Thanks to technology and AI, many online travel operators are incorporating AI artificial intelligence into their systems to help consumers plan their trips more easily and conveniently. For instance, Booking.com's AI trip planner engages in natural language conversation with users to gather information like group size, preferences for attractions, and more, to recommend suitable destinations, reducing the time spent on researching and choosing. In the future, Booking.com hopes for an all-in-one AI trip planner service that includes itinerary planning and booking services. Google Maps has also introduced AI-related features, utilizing large language models to provide tailored suggestions based on user preferences and reviews for places of interest, aiding in quicker searches and enabling users to save places of interest for future visits. Though these features are not yet available in Taiwan, they have the potential to significantly change travel habits and minimize travel mishaps.
