Two men in black jackets allegedly entered the 'Boring Coffee AMBI-CAFE' in the East District of Taipei in March, wielding aluminum bats and causing damage, citing intoxication and displeasure with Wu Chung-hsien's hosting style. They have been prosecuted for vandalism and public intimidation. Wu Chung-hsien expressed frustration, questioning if Taiwanese society is really that simple, upon hearing the charges. The incident, resulting in significant damages to the café and building, involved conflicting initial statements from the assailants, later claiming their motive was dissatisfaction with Wu Chung-hsien's hosting style.
