Two Tourists Spot Taiwan Black Bears in Yushan Eastern Park within 3 Days

Reported 8 months ago

In the Yushan National Park in the Nanan region, two separate instances on June 13 and 15 involved tourists encountering Taiwan black bears. The Yushan National Park Administration reminded visitors that the Nanan region is a frequent habitat for black bears; if encountering one, tourists should not disturb them, travel in groups, and bring bells while hiking to prevent bears from approaching.
