UBS has decided to not select an external candidate as the successor to CEO Sergio Ermotti, opting to choose from a shortlist of three internal candidates when he steps down in approximately three years. The Financial Times reported that the Swiss bank may reveal the potential successors' names as early as next year's annual meeting. While the final decision on the shortlist has not been confirmed, Iqbal Khan, Robert Karofsky, Beatriz Martin, and Sabine Keller-Busse are among those likely to be considered. UBS has not responded to requests for comments on this matter.
