At UFC 302 in Newark, fighters received a total of $281,500 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay, with Islam Makhachev earning the highest at $42,000. The program replaces the previous Athlete Outfitting Policy and pays fighters based on their number of UFC bouts and other relevant experience, with champions receiving $42,000 and title challengers $32,000. Additionally, fighters also receive royalty payments for UFC merchandise sales bearing their likeness. The total amount paid out in 2024 so far is $3,264,500.
