After the wave of artificial intelligence (AI) emerged, countries have been developing generative AI to seize business opportunities. Leveraging advantages such as prestigious universities and investments from US tech giants, the UK has quickly become the top country for generative AI in Europe. With 221 generative AI startups in the region, 30% are in the UK, followed by 14% in Germany, 13% in Israel, 11% in France, and 6% in the Netherlands. The UK's success in this field is attributed to its top universities nurturing AI talent, an early start in the AI industry, and attracting investments from US tech giants.
