Hargreaves Lansdown, the UK's largest retail investment platform, warns investors against including Bitcoin in their portfolios, labeling it as a highly volatile investment with 'no intrinsic value' and not worthy of being classified as an asset class. In light of new regulations allowing cryptocurrency exchange-traded notes in the UK, the firm remains cautious about offering such products and limits retail investors to a maximum of 10% of their portfolios in cryptocurrency ETNs.
