A senior British lawmaker has expressed concerns to the London Stock Exchange regarding the lack of clarity from Shein about its supply chain during a parliamentary hearing. In a letter to the LSE CEO, Liam Byrne questioned how the exchange verifies statements from companies planning to list, especially regarding safeguards against forced labor. Shein is aiming for a London IPO but is under scrutiny for its sourcing practices in China.
