A Ukrainian drone targeted a Russian long-range radar near Orsk, making it one of the deepest drone strikes within Russian territory since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. This is the second such strike in a week, with the previous one targeting a radar in the Krasnodar region. The radars are part of Russia's ballistic missile early warning system, with the primary function of detecting intercontinental ballistic missiles. Kyiv has increasingly utilized long-range drones to target Russian military and energy infrastructure, with recent strikes focusing on oil refineries.
