Ukrainian model Sawa Pontyjska is reportedly suing the Cannes Film Festival after alleging that she was "brutally restrained" by a female security guard on the red carpet, causing her pain and trauma. Pontyjska shared a clip of the confrontation on TikTok, which garnered over 16 million views, and is seeking 100,000 euros in damages for physical assault and psychological damage. The festival has not yet commented on the situation.
