The ultra-realistic shooter game 'Bodycam' was made available for early access on June 8, attracting many Taiwan players and streamers on the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Despite facing criticism for unstable server connections and optimization issues, the innovative gameplay received numerous praises from players. Developed using Unreal Engine 5 (UE5), 'Bodycam' offers a hardcore gaming experience without common HUD elements like mini-maps, health bars, or ammo counts, only featuring simple teammate markers. Despite the challenges, the development team Reissad Studio, comprising only two French teenagers aged 17 and 20, plans to collect feedback to improve the game before its official release, creating high anticipation among players for its polished version.
