This marks Ultrawin as the first Taiwan-based IC design company to supply key chips for iPhones, challenging the dominance of international manufacturers in the industry. The iPhone 16 series is set to be released in September, featuring the latest A18 processor produced by TSMC on the N3P process. Ultrawin's partnership with Apple extends to iPad, but this is their first time securing orders for iPhone critical components, indicating a significant milestone for Taiwan's IC design industry.
