A Taiwanese man surnamed Wei rode off with a Yamaha FZ motorcycle after spotting the key left in the ignition, cruising under the scorching sun for 6 hours before finally stopping at a convenience store in Taichung. Exhausted, he was apprehended by the police while resting at a table. Wei, who claimed he simply loved motorcycles, was arrested and charged with theft by the authorities. He confessed to the crime, saying he enjoyed the thrill of riding between districts and the joy of cruising.
