During a press conference titled 'Apologies from the Central Government to Hsinchu City' held by KMT legislator Zheng Zhengqian, he criticized the unfair distribution of central funds to Hsinchu despite it having the highest per capita tax revenue in the country. He proposed amendments to the Financial Division Law to include local tax contributions, introduce an 'Income Tax Rebate Mechanism,' and ensure a fairer distribution of funds to balance the financial relationship between central and local governments for public services and infrastructure.
