Pegatron held a briefing on June 26, 2024, reporting a 65.14% year-on-year revenue decrease to 2.4 billion NT dollars for the first five months due to delays in Taiwanese projects and the transition to TOPCon production lines. Anticipating market improvements in the second half with large projects starting, Pegatron expects VPC certification for its TOPCon in August to boost market reach. With rising green energy demand, revenue from selling excess power will also increase. Despite operational disruptions in the first half, Pegatron’s M10 TOPCon's efficiency and capacity will elevate its market share. Evaluating the upgrade of current M10 PERC lines to TOPCon, adjustments will depend on demands and export opportunities. Predicted equal share between TOPCon and PERC output in the second half amidst balanced solar supply chain inventory and anticipated price stability.
