On June 26, 2024, at 11:32 PM, Gao Xiuling disclosed that Eslite Bookstore will enter the Xinyi District. Today, Unified held its shareholders' meeting where Chairman Luo Zhixian presided. Gao Xiuling of Unified's Beautiful Life Business also attended and confirmed the latest progress of Unified Dream Plaza. She announced that Eslite Bookstore will be in Xinyi District within a department store. Gao mentioned this will be Unified Group's first large-scale physical bookstore and hinted at surprises in store. She addressed queries about a 24-hour bookstore, emphasizing providing the best consumer experience through active market research. Additionally, the highly anticipated Starbucks plans for a Taiwan-specific approach are underway, and despite a three-month delay due to safety-related structural adjustments, Unified Dream Plaza is set to open as scheduled next year. Gao also mentioned that a supermarket will be located on the underground first floor of the department store.
