Reported 7 months ago

In its recent shareholders' meeting on June 13, Unilong (2233) announced a slight 0.38% decrease in revenue in 2023 due to economic downturn, inflation, and interest rate pressures. Despite these challenges, Unilong's diversified industry layout strategy proved effective. The company plans to continue expanding its automotive parts business and developing hydrogen fuel cell components, aimed at tapping into the growing global market for new energy vehicles. With a post-tax profit of 534 million NT dollars and an EPS of 8.86 in 2023, Unilong approved a dividend payout of 5.3 NT dollars, offering a nearly 4% dividend yield based on the closing price of 133 NT dollars on the 13th. Looking ahead, the company anticipates robust operations in the second half of the year, especially with the completion and operation of their new factory in Taichung, expected ISO 13485 medical quality management system certification, and the development of precision components for surgical equipment.
