University Application Distribution Rate 52.61%, 11,000 Vacancies Near 7-Year High

Reported 7 months ago

The results of the 113th academic year's university application unified distribution were announced at 9 a.m. today, showing a total of 78,187 applicants and 41,133 distributed positions, with a distribution rate of 52.61%, the second-highest in nearly 7 years. There were about 11,000 vacancies, a decrease of over 4,000 from last year. Reasons for the decrease in vacancies include a lower number of enrollment positions, an increase in the number of applicants, and a higher completion rate of registration preferences. Notably, the medical department's self-funded positions had 118 vacancies, with Taipei Medical University's medical department having the most at 39 vacancies, followed by Kaohsiung Medical University with 30 vacancies.
