In Changhua, Taiwan, a man's parked truck was destroyed by an unlicensed drunk driver. The court ruled that both the driver and the truck owner must compensate over 159,000 NTD for the damages. However, both parties refused to pay, with the owner claiming that the driver took the truck without his consent and that he wasn't responsible. Consequently, the owner appealed the decision. The incident, which took place in February 2023, highlighted the dangers of drunk driving and the subsequent legal challenges faced by the victims.
