This morning around 7 AM, a large quantity of packages were scattered along the road at the entrance of the Zhongli Rest Area ramp on the northbound side of National Highway No. 1. The packages, ranging from cartons to a large cart, spilled onto the road due to a logistics truck driver failing to lock the right side gullwing door, which opened during a sharp turn causing the goods to fall out. Authorities promptly responded to clear the debris and investigate the incident, with potential penalties for the driver under traffic regulations. Thankfully, there were no accidents involving other vehicles, but the driver faces fines and potential compensation for the scattered packages, leaving buyers to wait for their deliveries.
