In Taichung, the Care Service Labor Cooperative owes its employees wages, leading 50 home care workers to protest at the city hall on July 1. The workers have not received their salaries since May, amounting to over 3 million NT in total. Some workers expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of action from relevant authorities and shouted slogans at the city hall, calling for help from the public sector. The situation arose from a dispute between the management and employees of the cooperative, resulting in unpaid wages and a lack of resolution from the authorities.
