On June 26, 2024, at around 11:27 a.m., a fire broke out in a residence on Lane 222 of Xinyi Road, Lujhou District, New Taipei City. Thick smoke continuously emanated from the roof addition on the 5th floor. Fortunately, the fire was brought under control after evacuation and firefighting efforts by the police and fire department. The burning area was approximately 30 square meters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Emergency fire trucks were dispatched for rescue.
