US Air Force Conducts 'Exercise Rapid Raven' to Verify Electronic Warfare Countermeasure Ability

Reported about 1 year ago

According to a report by 'Breaking Defense' on June 7th, the US Air Force's 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing recently completed the 'Exercise Rapid Raven' to verify advanced capabilities in electromagnetic spectrum operations through real-time countermeasures against electronic warfare interference. The exercise saw the wing providing efficient electromagnetic spectrum updates to around 70 US Air Force aircraft systems, effectively countering enemy electromagnetic interference within 3 hours of receiving threat intelligence. Despite only about half of the electronic warfare systems being able to complete updates within the timeframe, the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing demonstrated significant technical capabilities in countering electromagnetic threats and aims to further shorten the update process for all military branches in the future.
