The US government announced on June 18 that they will sell a total of $360.2 million worth of 'Attack Drone Missile Systems' to Taiwan, including two types of systems for personnel engagement (Switchblade 300) and anti-armor capabilities (Altius 600M). The Ministry of National Defense revealed that this sale has significantly shortened the administrative review time, thanking the US for efforts to speed up the arms sale to Taiwan. The sale of attack drones has become a new tactical option in recent years, and Taiwan aims to enhance its combat capabilities by combining various precision missiles and building layered deterrence capabilities. The US continues to assist Taiwan in enhancing its asymmetric warfare capabilities, reinforcing their security partnership to maintain peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and the Indo-Pacific region.
