On June 18, 2024, the Biden administration announced another arms sale to Taiwan, including the Spring Knife 300 and ALTIUS 600M-V attack drone systems, totaling approximately 360.2 million USD (about 11.65 billion NTD). The Presidential Office thanked the US government for continuously strengthening the Taiwan-US partnership in accordance with the Taiwan Relations Act and the Six Assurances. This marks the 15th arms sale to Taiwan during President Biden's term and the second this month, following the F-16 fighter jet sale announced on the 5th worth 300 million USD.
