The Biden administration has declared that Bioceres Crop Solutions Corp.'s genetically modified wheat, known as HB4, is safe for production and does not require regulation. This approval marks a significant step for Bioceres in its effort to bring the first GMO wheat to market, following similar approvals in Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. The US Department of Agriculture indicated that HB4 wheat is unlikely to pose pest threats and can be safely cultivated in the United States.
