TVBS reported on the US aircraft carrier Carl Vinson docking in Pearl Harbor ahead of the official start of the 2024 RIMPAC multinational military exercise in Hawaii on June 27th. Prior to the exercise, the US military showcased two new drones capable of vertical takeoff and landing at sea. The XP-4 drone, likened to a drone version of the 'Sun Yat-sen,' is highlighted, along with the Skyway V2.6 drone designed for ship-to-ship or ship-to-land resupply missions. The demonstration of these drones reflects the trend towards unmanned warfare in modern times and sets the stage for collaborative efforts in future naval operations.
