US consumer sentiment declined even more in May, according to the UMich Survey.

Reported 5 months ago

The University of Michigan's Consumer Sentiment Index fell to 69.1, which was higher than expected but a decrease of 8.1 points from the previous month. The report indicates concerns about business conditions, personal finances, labor markets, and expectations of rising unemployment rates and slowing income growth among US consumers.
