The latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that job openings in July reached 7.67 million, falling below the anticipated 8.1 million. This figure represents the lowest level of job openings since January 2021, raising concerns about the labor market heading into the upcoming August jobs report.
