US Light Vehicle Sales Expected to Increase by 6% in November

Reported about 7 hours ago

According to S&P Global Mobility, U.S. light vehicle sales are projected to rise 6% in November compared to last year, reaching approximately 1.31 million units. The share of battery electric vehicles is expected to hit 8.7%. With rising demand for affordable subcompact crossovers and pickup trucks amid economic uncertainties, retail sales are seeing steady growth, supported by increased inventory and early year-end clearance promotions. However, lower inventory levels for electric vehicles may lead to increased battery EV shares as consumers anticipate future government incentives.
