US NHTSA Launches Recall Query for Over 120,000 Honda Vehicles

Reported 12 months ago

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has initiated a recall query for more than 120,000 Honda Ridgeline vehicles in the U.S. due to rear-view camera (RVC) failures. The NHTSA is focusing on model years 2017-2019, as the RVC wire harness in these vehicles was prone to breakage from repeated tailgate usage, resulting in complete loss of RVC function. Honda has identified a replacement harness from a new supplier with improved material properties to prevent wear and tear.
