US Presidential Election Poll: Trump's Approval Higher Than Biden, Speculation That Harris May Replace Biden as Democratic Candidate

Reported about 1 year ago

Based on the latest poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College from June 28 to July 2, 49% of likely voters indicated support for Trump while Biden received only 43%, widening the gap compared to the previous week. Interestingly, 74% of respondents believe Biden is too old to be president, even 59% of Democratic supporters share this view. The poll also shows Trump leading among male voters, especially younger and less educated males, by 23 percentage points, while Biden has a slight lead of 8 percentage points among female voters. Additionally, there is speculation that Vice President Harris could be the primary replacement candidate for the Democratic Party if Biden were to withdraw due to health reasons. As the election intensifies, both parties are focusing on campaign activities to secure voter support, with uncertain and closely contested prospects.
