Reported 11 months ago

US stocks inched higher on Monday to start the last week of the successful Q2 on Wall Street, with the S&P 500 rising 0.3% and the Nasdaq Composite erasing earlier losses. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also rose roughly 0.7%. Nvidia, a key player in the market, showed signs of fatigue by dropping around 2% in early trading. This week, focus will be on macroeconomic indicators and US political events, including the first debate between US President Joe Biden and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Traders are eyeing the release of the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index on Friday, which could impact Federal Reserve policies on rate cuts.
